Carol has been organizing trips and events for family and friends her entire life! Her goal has always been to provide an event or trip that is fun and stress free.     Just show up and enjoy! has been her motto.

Now, as a "Boomer-Plus" herself, Carol is adding "at a comfortable pace, comfortable price" to that motto. Like many active boomers, Carol wants the experience without the stress of a pace designed for more athletic or younger people. Like you, she has learned that the journey is, well, the reason for going from point A to point B!

About the tours

Accomodations are in local Bed and Breakfast establishments, and every bike tour is served an in-route gourmet picnic lunch. Dinner at a local restaurant the night of the ride is included, as are two breakfasts. Snacks and water also available during the rides. Not included: dinner the arrival night and alchoholic beverage at dinner. Bicycles can be rented for an additional fee.

Prices quoted are double occupancy, and B&B's often have only a queen or king bed per room. Most have in suite private baths.Single supplements are noted, and the "couple" rate applies to two persons sharing a room. Single beds may be available. (Some tours offer accomodations for same sex singles in a large "dorm" room. This option works well for persons touring with family or friends.)

Tour Levels

All BOBtours are suitable for even novice riders! We understand that it's the journey that matters, and there is ample opportunity to enjoy the scenery, take pictures, cycle at your pace. Only one tour ("Pedal Past Padilla") has any elevation gain, and it is very gradual. All others are on flat country roads with wide shoulders. Traffic is minimal. Every tour has an option for additional milage if you want the challenge. BOBtours are ideal for groups with riders of differing abilities.
